Why WhatsApp, Not Email
In India, email open rates for school communications hover around 15 percent. WhatsApp open rates are above 85 percent. When we asked parents which channel they preferred, 91 percent said WhatsApp.
What the Integration Does
Fee Reminders are automatically sent 7 days before due date, 2 days before, on the due date, and 3 days after if still unpaid. Each message includes the amount, due date, and a payment link.
Attendance Alerts are sent to parents when their child is marked absent in any session.
Setting Up in 10 Minutes
Go to Settings, then Communication, then WhatsApp. Connect your WhatsApp Business number. Customise the message templates. Toggle on Fee Reminders and Attendance Alerts.
Privacy and Opt-Out
Parents can opt out of automated messages at any time. BatchBoard maintains a do-not-contact list automatically.
