The Year-End Crunch
Every school admin team knows the March-April panic: annual reports due, TC requests flooding in, final exam results being compiled, fee reconciliation, and payroll finalisation all at the same time.
What Annual Reports Need
Total student strength, class-by-class pass rates, attendance summary, fee collection vs target, staff strength and attrition, and income-expenditure summary.
Data That Should Be Ready in One Click
If attendance, fees, exams, and payroll are managed digitally throughout the year, all of the above should be available in one click in March.
TC Flood Management
March sees 30 to 50 percent of a school's TC requests in one month. Pre-prepare TC templates and process in order of application date, not parent pressure.
Staff Documents for Year-End
Salary certificates for the financial year, Form 16 where applicable, and experience certificates for departing staff.
Archiving
At year-end, lock the previous year's records. Historical data should be readable but not editable.
